Accuracy guarantee & refund policy
Our estimate is a projection based on the data printed on your existing BER certificate. If a certified assessment under the new methodology comes back worse than what we predicted, you get your money back.
What's covered
- We refund the full €50 unlock fee for a certificate when the officially certified BER grade is worse than the grade we predicted (for example we predicted B and the certified rating is C).
- If the certified grade matches or beats our prediction, the guarantee doesn't apply.
- Claims must be made within 6 months of purchase, and the certified BER must be issued after you bought the estimate.
- One claim per purchased certificate.
How to claim
- Open your dashboard and choose “Refund claim” on the certificate in question.
- Upload the certified BER (PDF or a clear photo) and add any context.
- We read the certified grade automatically and compare it with our prediction, then review every claim manually.
- If approved, the €50 is refunded to your original payment method - typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You keep access to the report.
Good to know
BERready is not an SEAI assessment and does not replace a certified BER. Ratings are estimates produced from the published methodology and the figures on your existing certificate. Building changes made after your original assessment (new plant, fabric works, fuel switching) can move the certified result and are outside the scope of the estimate, though we still review those claims case by case.
